Anderson to LaVenture Road Extension
A new arterial roadway in South Mount Vernon will connect the south end of LaVenture Road at Blackburn to the Anderson Road - Interstate 5 interchange in Skagit County.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Effluent Pump Upgrades
Sealed bids will be received by the Finance Director of the City of Mount Vernon, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Washington, 98273, at the office of the Finance Director of said City on or before the June 12, 2012, until 10:00 am (local time) of said day for work at the City of Mount Vernon Wastewater Treatment Plant consisting of the following:
Furnish Goods and Special Services consisting of, but not limited to the removal of three (3) effluent vertical turbine pumps, the reconstruction/upgrade of said pumps, the delivery of equipment to and from the site, operations and maintenance manuals, start-up services and training of Buyer personnel.

Sealed bid proposals were received by the City of Mount Vernon at the office of the City Finance Director, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon, Washington, 98273 until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at which time the bids were opened and publicly read.
Four bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Insituform Technologies of Chesterfield, MO for their bid in the amount of $173,590.67.

A pre-bid meeting was held at the City of Mount Vernon Wastewater Treatment Plant facility at 1401 Britt Road, Mount Vernon, WA, on
Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
Two bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Tecta America Seattle LLC of Seattle, WA for their bid in the amount of $129,533.78. The second bid was from Esary Roofing of Burlington, WA for their bid in the amount of $142,513.92. A bid tabulation breakdown will be posted later today.
