This grant was awarded by the Washington State Library & the Office of the Secretary of State, and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  The program provides 17 Washington libraries with funds to enhance services to residents hit hardest by the ongoing economic downturn.

   

Mount Vernon City Library will be presenting Picturing America  - Exploring American History Through Art - during the months of January through July. Famous works of American Art will be on display during library open hours.

April's theme is: American Landscapes

 

April 5th, 6:30 p.m.

Our monthly Art / History discussion will feature local artist Ron Farrell sharing his experience and knowledge of landscape painting. Please join us in the Reference Room.
