Kevin Rogerson, City Attorney

The City Attorney's Office provides legal assistance to the City, including advice to departments, Mayor and Council; representation in legal matters; drafting or approval of legal documents, contracts, ordinances and resolutions; and the prosecution in Municipal Court of all misdemeanor cases under City ordinances. The office is divided into two sections, one for civil cases and one for criminal.

 

Kevin Rogerson is the City Attorney.  In addition to supervising the prosecution of criminal matters, Kevin also handles various civil matters.  Criminal matters are handled by Pat Eason who holds the prosecuting attorney contract. Concerning any charges filed through Mount Vernon Municipal Court, please contact Mr. Eason. 

 

Concerning any legal matter involving the City, other than criminal cases, contact the City Attorney's office and you will be directed to the approprite party.  This includes claims for damages against the City, nuisance complaints, information about City ordinances, or any other civil matter.

Wednesday Farmers Market

1:30-5:30pm, Skagit Valley Hospital. Many of the same farm vendors as the Saturday market, but in a smaller setting. Come visit for a midweek supply of local produce!
Little Mountain Trail Work Parties

Volunteer trail building at Little Mountain Park is underway. If you're interested in helping please come to a volunteer work party at 10am-4:30pm on July 24, August 14 & 28, and additional dates listed in the attached flyer.
Skagit County Fair

Great entertainment all day long! Carnival,live music, food, animal exhibits, and much more. $3 admission on August 11 until 3pm! Cost is $7 adults and $6 seniors & students at other times.
