On Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at approximately 11:05 AM, two male subjects entered the pharmacy in the 1200 Block of East Division Street. They confronted the store employees displaying hand guns and demanded drugs. The first suspect is described as wearing a blue or black hoodie style sweatshirt and jeans. The second suspect was wearing a brown hooide sweatshirt. Both suspects had their faces covered. No one was injured during the incident.
An undetermined amount of drugs were taken from the pharmacy. The suspects fled on foot from the business. Skagit County Sheriff's Office assisted with a K-9 search of the area however the suspects were not located.
Mount Vernon High School and Immaculate Conception School were both notified of the incident and asked to secure their campuses while the police searched the area.
