The Human Resources Department is a multifaceted office that provides support to the public, the Mount Vernon City Council, City Administration, Civil Service Commission, and other City departments. The department is responsible for providing services in city employment, city employee relations, diversity, city employee classification, city employee compensation, city employee benefits, and city employee training.
