How to Use the Community Rooms

The Mount Vernon Fire Department has two rooms available for use by citizens of Mount Vernon  (non-profit groups only) for meetings or training sessions.  They cannot be used for parties, receptions or similar gatherings, or for the consumption of meals. No smoking is allowed.

Both rooms are equipped with tables and chairs, dry-erase boards, and coffee makers (users supply their own coffee). The rooms can be reserved up to two months in advance by calling (360) 336-6277.

Station #2 - 1901 North Laventure Road

The community room at Station 2 is the larger of the two, accommodating up to 43 people. This room also has a television and VCR available. There are approximately fifteen parking spaces available in our lot. Overflow parking is available across the street at Skagit Valley College.

To get to Station 2, take the College Way exit off I-5, follow College Way east to Laventure Road, turn left on Laventure and follow approximately 1-1/2 blocks, then turn left under traffic light into Station 2's driveway.

Station #3 - 4701 East Division Street

The community room at Station 3 accommodates up to 23 people. Parking is somewhat limited here, so carpooling is recommended.

To get to Station 3, take the College Way exit off I-5, follow College Way east to Laventure Road, turn right on Laventure Road and follow to Division Street, then turn left on Division Street and follow approximately 3-4 miles. The station is on the north side of Division Street.
